Business waste collection and disposal is not covered within your council tax, and as such must be collected and documented separately.
The Duty of Care is a piece of law that states that everybody is responsible for the disposal of their waste. Failure to comply is an offence subject to an unlimited fine if convicted.

Business rates are collected on behalf of central government and do not cover waste collection as different types of business could occupy the same amount of space but produce very different amounts or types of waste, so a standard commercial waste rate wouldn’t be fair.
Our contracts are for 12 months, after which they simply convert to a rolling monthly contract, which you can cancel at any time with 30 days notice. We understand that your waste may change; so you are able to adapt your collections at any point, again with 30 days notice.
Once one of our team has visited your business and we have agreed on the appropriate bins and collection frequency, we will normally provide bins within five days and start collections the following week. If you have a build-up of waste and require a collection sooner, please contact us to discuss.
We would always recommend meeting on site to discuss what waste you are producing and work out the most suitable bins and collections to meet your needs.
Simple answer is yes, but we would recommend meeting with you to discuss what waste streams your business is creating to work out what can be recycled.
Although that may seem a simple solution, it is not necessarily the most economical solution as recycling bins are about 30% cheaper than mixed waste bins. It is also better for the environment the more of your waste you can recycle.
We offer collections from daily to monthly depending on your needs. If you have the space for multiple bins you can reduce the frequency.
Our collection rounds operate between 6am and 4pm but we do try to offer times that suit your business environment.
